I bet you thought I fell off
the face of the earth
didn't you...
well pretty close...
The past few weeks have been
filled with ups and downs...
too much so that I couldn't bring myself
to write a thing.
My life has been filled with a sick child, a sick me,
a death in the family, a little bout of the blues ...
which I have struggled with my entire life...
and one of my boys is getting married in 2 weeks
which we just found out about a week ago...
which is a happy event....
but oh my lots to do!
So I picked myself up...and said
okay that's enough...
get on with it...
and so I begin again.
In the times that I am surrounded
by challenges, sorrow and even joy...
I hope to be like a butterfly that emerges from
it's cocoon...
forever changed and grateful
for the life that lies ahead.

ReplyDeleteGlad to hear your up and around again and feeling like yourself again. It sounds like you have had a lot on your plate and it is tuff sometimes to share or put into words all that is going on...too overwhelming for words!

Hello Denise, so good to hear from you again! I was beginning to wonder what happened to you! I'm sorry to hear you've had some rough weeks...I know that's life and it happens to all of us...but I hate to hear a friend is going thru some tough times.
